Charitable Activites of The Plaid #19 - Steven and Jamie

Members of the Sadler Fan Club give Christmas Joy to a local family

The members of the Plaid #19 brightened the Christmas of Steven and his mom Jamie. In November of this year, Steven (just turned 4yrs old), his brother Jason (4 yrs old, would have been 5yrs old on Christmas day) and mom Jamie were involved in a car accident in Emporia, VA. Jason died of injuries from the accident.

Steven was very thankful for the gifts

Jamie who is a single mom has not been able to return to work as of yet, needless to say this Holiday Season for the family was less than merry. So the Plaid #19 decided to help. Toys, movies, money, and many other gifts from all over poured into this family. Steven had a wonderful time as he unwrapped each and everyone at the Fan Club in Emporia, VA.  Jamie was in tears as she opened her envelope that contained some funds to help her family through this Holiday Season.

The Plaid #19 was actually started by the group driver "Shelley" in an attempt to bring the members of the Sadler Fan Club together during a very difficult and controversal season. The name "Plaid" was selected because Elliott always seem to wear it. What had started so simply has now become much more. We have supported children and others who have had needs throughout the year. The funds, the time, and all the travels does not even come into the minds of the Plaid group. We do what we can to see that all needs are met.
